CHARLOTTE CHAMPAGNE

Based in Brussels, Charlotte Champagne reinterprets the historical poison ring as a contemporary architectural object, dedicated to structural elegance and the power of the unspoken. Redefining this ancestral jewel, each piece contains a secret compartment: a symbolic space dedicated to mystery, autonomy, and inner sovereignty.

"My work explores the relationship between power and intimacy. Through the poison ring, historically associated with secrecy, protection, and transgression, I create wearable architectural objects that question the boundaries between external structure and inner truth. Influenced by sacred geometry, classical proportions, and minimalist architecture, my work transforms jewelry into micro-architecture. The ring then becomes a temple for oneself. In a contemporary society where visibility is constant, my pieces advocate for opacity, interiority, and sovereignty. The poison ring is no longer a weapon: it becomes a talisman."

From Milan to Brussels: The genesis of an architectural gem.

The Genesis of an Architectural Gem

For Charlotte Champagne, the ring Poison is more than just an accessory: it's an ancient jewel reimagined as a modern talisman . Historically linked to secrets and intrigue, we've reinvented it as a vessel for your innermost thoughts. This secret ring doesn't reveal everything. It holds a thought, a wish, a wound, or an inner fire. It's an object of connection to yourself, a part of your essence known only to you. Whether beneath the gleam of gold (vermeil) or the purity of sterling silver , your secret remains safe, like a whisper left unspoken. Wearing one of our compartment rings is choosing a jewel with a soul, a silent guardian of what you hold most dear.

925 Silver or Vermeil

Each Charlotte creation Champagne embodies a part of this journey of self-discovery. Our rings are handcrafted using precious metals such as sterling silver (925) and vermeil (gold-plated silver) . To enhance their energy, some of our pieces are set with carefully chosen gemstones selected for their symbolic resonance and virtues. Available in limited editions or as unique pieces , our Poison Rings are designed to hold what you cherish most , whether to preserve it or to reveal it within their innermost compartment.

Our symbols

Charlotte Champagne's visual identity embodies the very essence of our house: a world of enigmas and duality , between the external appearance and the secret garden that we protect.

The Amphora and the Myth of Pandora

Inspired by the myth of Pandora , the amphora symbolizes an object of deceptive simplicity . Once opened, this ancient vessel reveals a complex and meaningful universe . It is the perfect metaphor for our poison rings : designer jewelry that conceals far more than it first appears.

The Wax Seal: The Art of Lost Wax Casting

The wax seal evokes the mystery of sealed letters and precious messages. It also pays homage to the lost-wax casting technique, a traditional craft I use to create each piece of jewelry in my workshop. This ancient method of fine jewelry making allows me to capture the intention in precious metal (silver or gold). Each seal thus preserves a fragment of history and a unique emotion within each of my creations.
